Starting to publish monthly reports can be a positive step towards increased engagement with developers and enthusiasts.

“We publish our first monthly report from the Hedera network. Re-summarize key network usage, performance, and key metrics for March 2020 ”, tweeted Hedera.

Hedera Hashgraph It has three main parts, including the Governing Council, the Operation Nodes, and the Developer Network Services. Hedera's first blockchain network monthly report focuses on internal metrics of network usage. The founding team will share more data later on social media accounts.

Some important aspects of network usage are covered in the March 2020 report. Hedera is not just on a crypto project. HBAR is known as the main cryptocurrency on the network; However, the leading team focuses on four network services: cryptocurrency, archive, smart contract and consensus. According to the report, the Consensus and Cryptocurrency Service is currently experiencing more extensive use.

Hedera claims that its consensus solution is more efficient than blockchain and focuses on the current usage report on the service. The report claims that more volume is managed right now than traditional ledgers, but the service still accommodates more. The network handled an average of 15 transactions per second in March 2020. Also, the latency in the Hedera consensus is reported as 2 to 5 seconds, which is much better than many current blockchain networks. Latency is the time it takes for the network to complete a transaction. The final status means that there is no need for block confirmation.

Hedera claims that CPU usage is low for nodes on the network. The report says the board member nodes don't feel as much pressure on the CPU while operating on the network.
